Where can I find that command? Under the command menue I can't find it. I am a complete X3 noob What kind of scripts would you recommend me to get?Īs far as I can see, mods arent't really necessary and only add more ships or items to the game.Īlso, I read that it is possible to remote order a hauler to salvage floatsam after a battle. I think I need to make my question more clear: So you'll be flying your ship slow, until you get a hold of a new SETI. It's smarter to do it close to a equipment dock tough, since the SETI will dissepear when you enter the ship again. It fixed fixed the Kraken (M7) from around 47% to 100% in the time it took to drink a coffecup (about 10 minutes). I had to hold the keys down during the entire repair tough. It were installed in the Spacesuit, and I could now hold down both CTRL+J keys at the same time, that way I were able to repair in SETI. I ejected the Singularity Engine Time Accelerator (SETI) from the ship, flew to pick it up in my spacesuit. I tested out a trick wich I read about on the Egosoft-forum. I think that goes for police-forces aswell. I've heard that Terran's don't like armed aliens in their systems. I managed to jump out when the first missile were a few hundred yards away, and my hull started counting down. I had fled abit up in Terran Space, and just managed to get in amongst a couple of Terran Corvette's, when the police jumped into the system. I were rescuing a abandoned Kraken, and they wanted to pay me 250k for the job.Ĭoncidering the ship is worth 50 million, I turned around scrounged up some energy and jumpdrive, and ran away. I just discovered that Terran Space can be awesome. I play vanilla-game, so I get my stats up. Marine repairs - marines in your ship will slowly repair its hull and your docked fighters. I usually just put something to weigh down the ctrl-key, and goes for a smoke, when repeairing heavily damaged bigger ships, wich may take a while to repair. Once you're over there it's still embarrassingly easy to make money, too. I played Reunion first (and The Threat before that), so I'm more used to Argon space, which tends to be a hell of a lot more fun than "oh look how awesome we are" Terran-land. View image here: -Īnd especially when you get a jumpdrive. Terran space in general suck, it will be much more fun when you get away from it. The bad thing is that Terrans are paranoid and don't want to sell you weapons, and missiles for them. The nice thing by the Terran Plot is that you'll be getting a decent ship's without having to pay for them. You can quit them and do something else whenever you want.īuild up your empire, do some piracy, do some regular missions, or do some of the company missions aswell. I had a 50M SP char in Eve, this shouldn't be this hard. I know there's an awesome game under all this crap, but god do they make you search for it. Is it faster to enter/eject when your repair gun runs out of energy (to recharge), or is that a waste of time? Energy for the repair gun seems stupid.Ħ) I know it's been said, but the terran plot missions are a chore, with 95% of the mission being 1000% accelerated travel.Īll in all, I'm getting a little frustrated. Am I missing some kind of fuel, or did I misremember the earlier, faster speed?Ĥ) If I see red targets (pirates) in some sector I'm flying through, do I get money for killing them? Or do I need to be on a mission or have some kind of licence?ĥ) I took some damage fighting some pirate (that only seemed able to shoot me with a rear turret - View image here: -), so I ejected to repair my ship. How do I do that?ģ) I seem to remember this ship flying pretty fast in the first mission I did (~200+). I was able to get it to fly to the sector I was in and dock, but I can't figure out how to sell it. This thing came bare (I was hoping to scavenge the expensive guns for my Sabre - View image here: -), so I was thinking of selling it. Is this correct?Ģ) Somewhere along the line, I was given a Rapier. I tried reading some of the "get started" guides, but they're not really clearing things up for me.ġ) My Terran Sabre seems to have slots for 4 guns, but it only comes with 2, correct? It only seems to be able to mount a special Terran gun that is a) expensive, and b) unavailable due to faction issues. I figured I would do whatever early plotline missions the game threw at me just to figure things out, but I'm still unsure of how to do really basic stuff. OK, I got this game running but I'm pretty well lost.
